First UPCAT Proctoring Experience

My weekend UPCAT assignment was indeed a blast for it gave me a couple of "first time experiences."

These would include my first time to:

- spend the weekend here since I moved in last June;
- proctor an exam to close to 400 students from Southern Tagalog in two days;
- stand and walk around for 13 hours straight from the opening of the exam room at 5:30 am until its closing at 7pm;
- literally jump out of bed, cursing, last Sunday when I woke up ten minutes before call time;
- leave behind an unmade bed, with sheets thrown over and pillows on the floor;
- take a shower in less than 60 seconds;
- dress up in less than five minutes;
- run from LB Square up to the CAS Annex Building MPH 2 in a little over 5 mins;
- start working immediately while catching my breath and explaining my late coming behavior;
- administer an exam without even knowing the questions;
- be thankful for my MCHS proctoring experience, surely prepared me for this;
- have a massage in Laguna, which is quite okay but still left missing the last therapy center Leng and I went to;
- come upon a turtle crossing the same street, searching for higher ground after rains started pouring heavily again; and,
- realize that most students' queries (and even life questions) may be addressed by asking them (and ourselves, too) to always, "Use your / our best judgement." :)
